Built all this for the few shots I took on blender. I might go back in and take some shots of the forge without Dammon and Rolan because I'm pretty proud of it.

Note. I just realised NOW that I forgot to append the whetstone into this scene and I am DYING looking at it because I had it ready to add 🙃 I won't stop thinking about this for the rest of the day now.

This 5th 3D project has been a long time in the making... Truth be told, I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish it. It's far from perfect, far from what I had in mind. This project is all about learning that not everything can be perfect from the start.

I'd never have finished without the support of @byrdling and @synnevp. Thank you for your constant help and for pushing me not to give up in my many moments of doubt.

Learning Blender and I think I accidentally made a Pomni donut

I just chose colors somewhat randomly. I dunno how or why it ended up with this color scheme.

Totally keeping the Pomni donut, though.

I can't believe after 3 months I'm finally posting my first renders. Working on this project didn't come without many tears and crash outs.

I'd never have been able to do this without my girls @elenyae and @byrdling ❤️ Without their patience and advice, I would have given up at the first obstacle. I'm so incredibly grateful to you both, not just for your support but for the friendship we have developed over the past few months. You're both insanely gifted and I can't imagine not waking up to our good morning gifs now. Love you Ten Babies 😭

Everything here was ripped from BG3 by myself to build the characters and scene, and all textures applied using Volno's texture toolbox.

I have a more suggestive set that I will be posting in a few days.

3d things

edited an old 3d meao head model i had to show the difference between xatpan meaos (flat faced) and ixuí meaos (long faced)

looks a bit funny from above hehe

this is done in sculptris so i cant really move those around freely... when im a lil better at blender i'll be making some poseable meaos for sure.

A lil headworld lore bit: Xatpan meao live in colder areas than ixuí meao and call themselves irqi! This affects how other tribes call meao too... in their region meaos would be known as irqi ixuí and irqi xatpan.

Also my current blender situation: I'm trying to use what I learnt and remember of all those isometric bedroom blender tutorials to make a lil guy... this what i came up with!

i thought it might be nice to give it a mouth... truly a learning experience lol

heres it with some smoothening on.

its neat because earlier this year i couldnt even move a cube in blender, and althrough i havent practised 3d as much as i wish i did, i've been making progress and i can make some things without following a tutorial now! its neat, learning new things is cool :)

Behold; my terrible, wicked son whom I hate. His name is Barf Spompsgn (original character do not steal) and i rlly, rlly hate him :)

Seriously though, I'm trying to learn to sculpt in Blender! For my first attempt, it could be worse, probably! (Though he does look like he's made of Play-dough from the side). He reminds me of a weird mascot horror thingy, maybe I'll make the Barf Spompsgn mascot horror that the people truly crave

All in all, a solid 2/10 if I do say so myself <3
